a este lo llamaremos "el autorretrato gandul". digamos que últimamente no me apetecía nada posar, así que simplemente me hice una foto rápida mientras que perseguía a Diego con la cámara. mirándolo por el lado bueno, es un autorretrato clásico! que hay que tener de todo! ;)

we'll call this "the lazy self-portrait". let's say i just wasn't in the mood for posing lately, so i just took a quick picture while i was chasing Diego with my camera. on the positive side, this is a classic self-portrait! ;)

ejem... venciendo la vergüenza, me he decidido a publicar el autorretrato de febrero. no os riáis mucho. o sí, que es muy sano y viene muy bien para todo, venga, a esta carcajada invito yo ;)
vale, sigo teniendo muuuucho que mejorar... para empezar debería haberme pintado aunque sea un poquito, mi cara está igual de blanca y plana que la pared... y tampoco estaría mal sonreír un poquito. tomo nota para la próxima vez. al menos, después de mil intentos, conseguí encuadrarme a mí misma medio bien a "mano alzada". minipunto para mí :)

ahem... getting over the embarrasment, i finally decided to post february's self-portrait. please don't laugh too hard. or do it, it's very healthy! this round of loud laughs is on me ;)
ok, i still have a lot to improve... i should have put some make up on, my face is white and plain like the wall... and a little smile wouldn't hurt either. i take note of that. at least, after what seemed like a thousand tries, i was able to put myself in frame decently while holding the camera with my arm. one point for me :)

autorretrato #1 / selfie #1

he decidido embarcarme en un nuevo proyecto este año: hacerme un autorretrato mensual. este es el de enero, que publico un poco tarde, pero más vale tarde que nunca.
le he dado muchas vueltas a la idea, porque realmente no es que me encante hacerme autorretratos; me siento ridícula tomando las fotos y suelo salir siempre con cara de tonta! definitivamente no nací para egoblogger. pero al final me he convencido a mi misma para intentarlo, por varias razones:
- es un reto creativo interesante, y dejándolo en uno mensual, no demasiado pesado.
- espero que me ayude a mejorar mi técnica fotográfica. estoy acostumbrada a hacer fotos de lo que veo pero no a planificar la foto y después ponerme yo. el autorretrato implica pensar un poco más antes de hacer la foto.
- y, aunque suene algo tonto, quiero tener más fotos mías. siempre soy yo la que está detrás de la cámara, así que, lógicamente, no salgo en las fotos.
y aquí está el primero de los doce! obviamente tengo mucho que mejorar... tengo curiosidad por ver cómo evoluciono a lo largo del año!



 i decided to start a new project this year: to take a selfie once a month. this one is from january; i'm a little late posting it, but better late than never!
i thought about this a lot. i'm not a big fan of taking selfies; i feel ridiculous and i always end up showing some stupid photo-face. i definitely wasn't born to be a fashion blogger. but i conviced myself to give it a try anyway, because of a few reasons:
- it's an interesting creative challenge, and not too difficult to achieve if i narrow it down to just once a month.
- i hope it helps me to improve my photographic skills. i'm used to photograph what i see, but i'm not used to plan a picture. selfies make you think a little more before shooting.
- and, though it may sound a little silly, i want to have more photos of myself. i'm always the one behind the camera, therefore i'm not in the photos.
so here's the first of twelve! i obviously got so much to improve... i'm curious to see how this evolves until the end of the year.
